Angata Tarangire Camp
Angata Tarangire Camp provides a 180-degree view of Tarangire Hill and is located in the centre of Tarangire National Park, overlooking the Tarangire River and adjacent to the Kuro Airstrip. Only 5 km from the Silale Swamp Plains, where elephants gather in their numbers on a regular basis, Tarangire is also known for its enormous concentration of Big Cats and tree climbing Pythons, as well as Kudus and the elusive Oryx. This is the location to explore the wild in all its glory, with waking safaris and night game drives available.
This newest bush camp to the Angata Collection has eight guest tents, including a two-tent family unit, a lounge, and a dining tent. Each guest tent has its own bathroom, which includes a shower, vanity desk and flush toilets. A King-size bed, two Twin beds, or three triple beds are available upon request. The lounge is where you may meet other travellers and share your safari stories over a complimentary cup of Tanzanian coffee or tea. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are provided in the dining tent, and we also offer exclusive bush meals on the crater floor on a regular basis, freshly prepared by the Chefs. When the weather permits, Bush TV (the local term for a campfire) is lit.
