Angata Migration Camp
The Agata Migration camp is discreetly located on the rift above the marsh slightly south-west of Lake Ndutu, allowing safe observation of wildlife right below camp. This magical location is in easy reach of Shamba Maharagi, otherwise known as the short grass plains to the south of the Serengeti in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area where the Wildebeest gather in their millions in February and March. It is 800 metres to Lake Ndutu, 5 kilometres to Lake Masek, and 10 minutes from Ndutu Airstrip and the Ranger Post.
This large camp features 12 spacious Guest tents, a two-tent Family unit, a lounge, and a dining tent. Each guest tent has its own bathroom, which includes a shower, vanity desk and flush toilets. A King-size bed, two Twin beds, or three triple beds are available upon request. The lounge is where you may meet other travellers and share your safari stories over a complimentary cup of Tanzanian coffee or tea. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are offered daily in the dining tent and are freshly cooked by our Chefs. When the weather permits, Bush TV (the local term for a campfire) is lit.
