Olaado Camp
Olaado is a seasonal mobile camp that moves twice a year to coincide with the movement of the great migration, allowing our guests to be right in the centre of this unique animal display. Between December and March, the camp is located near Ndutu in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The numbers gathering on the short grass plains are incredible, and this is also when females give birth to their calves. Between June and October, the camp moves further north to the Serengeti. Herds are on their way to the northern Serengeti to prepare for their annual river crossings.
All eight safari-style canvas tents are deliberately positioned to provide beautiful views of the savannah. They are well-appointed, with very comfortable beds and cosy furnishings, as well as huge en-suite bathrooms with running water and flush toilets in the rear. A modest solar system provides electric lights, which is available around the clock. The Mess Tent, with its wide canvas top and wooden floor, can hold up to 15 people. A section of the tent is dedicated to a small bar where guests can enjoy a wide range of beverages before or after supper. End your day in the safari atmosphere with a degestif, admire the African night sky, and share your day's adventures over the campfire.
