Verney’s Camp is an intimate classic safari camp located in a large private concession of Hwange National Park. The private concession allows for night drives and nature walks while day drives can go further afield into the national park.Verney’s Camp has luxurious, authentic yet modern safari tents. Each tent is built on a deck, with en suite facilities and a private sitting area, all overlooking the busy waterhole and flood plains. This part of Hwange attracts huge herds of elephants as well as buffalo, zebra, the protected Roan and other antelope. These congregations of animals attract the predators like lions and wild dogs are frequently seen.

Verney's Camp Game Viewing and Activities
Veryney’s Camp is in a large private concession in the remote south eastern section of Hwange National Park. The camps location means that activities like game drives at night and walks can be conducted, while during the day game drives explore into the national park. This area is frequented by the large elephant herds that make Hwange famous, as well as large antelope herds like buffalo, the endangered Roan and many more. Following the antelope herds are the predators and African wild dogs are commonly seen as are lions, leopards and more. The area is also home to an abundance of bird life.
