Kafue River Lodge
The reward for your effort in exploring the North-Eastern Kafue is Kafue River Lodge. The Kafue River's varied, calm section, where the lodge is situated, is favoured by wildlife. The 4 ensuite chalets look out onto the river, and hippo sounds can be heard clearly throughout the property. The miombo woodland behind camp is also home to a regular stream of wildlife, including birds and game.
Kafue River Lodge offers four ensuite chalets and two main gathering spaces: a lovely main lapa area built on a terrace over the river affording cool shade and 180-degree river views, and an open, riverside "fire pit" for starlit meals and early morning coffee. You may make yourself at home in this tiny slice of paradise for an extended stay thanks to the way the Kafue River Lodge cottages have been created. Two queen beds, a fireplace, a freestanding bath, an outdoor shower, and teak decking can be found in each of the four ensuite chalets. There are plugs in the chalets for device charging because the entire lodge is powered by solar energy.

The Lunga Luswishi, Kafue National Park, and Mushingashi Conservancy are the locations for the game drives. The benefit of going on game drives is that you may see a lot of ground while looking for those unique sightings. We have good road networks all around us, allowing for long journeys and encircling the variety of plants in our region. Of course, sundowners and coffee breaks are required, and after the drive is through, you can be surprised with a bush breakfast
