Kasonso Busanga Camp
The Busanga Plains are without a doubt the best location in Kafue National Park for animal viewing, and Kasonso Busanga is situated right in the middle of the best game viewing region. The Busanga Plains region is well recognised for its enormous lions, buffalo, elephants, wildebeest, and peaceful roan antelope in addition to its ideal location for viewing large quantities of red lechwe. Kasonso provides exceptional animal encounters at exceptional value, and it pairs beautifully with Kafue River Lodge and Kikuji Camp.
The Busanga Plains' Kasonso Busanga Camp is located in a more convenient area near the activity and is open earlier and longer throughout the year. Idos and Newton Mulenga, a father-son pair formerly of Wilderness Safaris, and Ferrison, one of Zambia's finest birding guides, make up the management team for the camp. Kasonso is a genuine bush camp that offers all the necessities for a comfortable stay while putting the emphasis on the excellent guiding and wildlife encounters. There are 4 tents, each with a verandah that looks out over the plains and an ensuite bathroom. You can use the outside deck, bar, and comfy seating area in the centre boma area at your convenience.
