Nanzhila Plains Safari Camp is located in the remote southern sector of Kafue National Park in Zambia. The vast open spaces provide privacy and exclusivity. The birdlife is a big attraction for many visitors, with 491 bird species recorded. The camp is small, intimate and remote and offers guests a true safari experience with breathtaking African sunsets and incredible game viewing opportunities.

Nanzhila Plains Safari Camp Game Viewing and Activities
Nanzhila Plains Safari Camp offers incredible game viewing and guests can expect to see a number of antelope species including Roan and Sable, Reedbuck, Defassa Waterbuck, Oribi, Hartebeest and Eland as well as all the popular carnivores, with a strong population of Wild Dog and Cheetah. The birdlife is fantastic throughout the year and offers some of the best birding opportunities in Zambia; sightings can almost be guaranteed of the endemic Black-cheeked Lovebird, the Wattled Crane, Ground Hornbill and Saddle-billed Stork amongst others. Activities include twice daily game drives in custom developed open 4x4 vehicles accompanied by professional guides, guided bush walks, birding, bush trails and visits to Lake Itezhi-Tezhi, cultural visit to Shezongo village as well as night drives.
