Kunene River Lodge is situated on the banks of the Kunene River in northern Namibia on the Angolan boundary. Kunene River Lodge is located between Epupa to the west and Ruacana to the east in the Kaokoland. A variety of accommodation choices are available and the lodge offers a true river experience in a unique area. It has one of the most well regarded and experienced Adventure Activity Centers in Namibia.

Kunene River Lodge Activities
Kunene River Lodge offers a variety of activities including canoeing, sunset cruises, fishing, birding, white water rafting as well as a cultural experience to the local Himba Village. Kaokoland is home to approximately 12 000 Himba people and guests will have the opportunity to take a peek into their lives and learn about their survival skills. The birdlife is prolific and the region is home to some endemic species including the Cinderella Waxbill and Rufous-tailed Palm Thrush offering a haven for bird enthusiasts.
