Susuwe Island Lodge Game Viewing and Activities
Activities at Susuwe Island Lodge offers day game drives in open 4x4 vehicles in the Bwabwata National Park. Game sightings include vast herds of roaming elephant and buffalo, lion, hippo, leopard, sable, roan, lechwe and puku for example. Night drives are also available and offer guests the opportunity to see nocturnal species coming alive at night. Bird watching in this area is fantastic in a variety of riverine, floodplain and grassland habitats. Other activities include boating, nature walks and picnics or guests can relax at the lodge and enjoy the peace and tranquility.
