Belmond Eagle Island Lodge’s luxury tents are housed on raised wooden platforms and shaded by a traditional African thatch roof. Belmond Eagle Island Lodge Game Viewing and Activities
Eagle Island Lodge is a bird watcher’s paradise. It offers peace and tranquillity, however for those seeking adventure Eagle Island will not let you down. The camp offers guided walking safaris, mokoro excursions and motor boat excursions around the myriad of waterways. During the months of November through March, when lower water levels make it possible to drive, game drives are offered in open 4x4 vehicles off the island, guests can also enjoy a game drive combined with a water activity. The camp offers game viewing activities in the morning and late afternoons. Bird and game viewing is done either from motorised boats or mokoro (traditional dugout canoes). Private scenic game-viewing flights over the Okavango Delta are also available as well as private excursions to secret islands, intimate romantic dinners and indulgent massages and body wraps.
