Little Vumbura
Little Vumbura is one of the Delta's best safari camps. Located in the northern part of the Okavango Delta the camps offers an excellent year round safari experience. Sleeping only 12 guests in six suites, the camp is perfect for guests seeking a small and intimate camp.
Little Vumbura Introduction
Little Vumbura is situated on a beautiful island in a private concession in the northern reaches of the Okavango Delta. Surrounded as it is by water and lying close to large rivers, water-based activities are just as popular as those on land, both offering spectacular and diverse wildlife sightings. Little Vumbura is a beautiful six-roomed tented camp shaded by the canopy of an ancient forest. Each tent is large and roomy and has en-suite facilities. A plunge pool and reading area overlook the floodplains and a star deck leads off over the water from the dining area.

Little Vumbura Game Viewing and Activities
Game viewing is consistently good all year round with lion, leopard, elephant, sable and buffalo along with general plains game providing a fantastic all-round wildlife experience in this remote corner of the Delta. Little Vumbura is part of a community participation project bringing the communities that live around the Okavango Delta into the tourism mainstream. Activities on safari at Little Vumbura focus on water activities including mokoro excursions under the guidance of experienced polers as well as motor boat trips, however game drives in open Land Rovers are also offered. Guided nature walks (on request) are available around the islands.
