Chitabe Lediba is a small, intimate camp situated on the same beautiful island as Chitabe Main Camp alongside the Moremi Game Reserve. The camp offers breathtaking views and is ideal for families or small groups of friends and offers guests a personalised safari experience in an area promising incredible wildlife viewing.
This smaller camp has two family units with adjoining bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms. There are a total of five Meru style tents, all built on raised decks, ensuring that the tent – and outside shower – have panoramic views over the Okavango Delta. The Lounge, bar and dining areas are all facing a waterhole, which becomes a lagoon in the wet months. This waterhole has a constant stream of wildlife coming to drink. There is also a splash pool to cool off in after your activities or just to relax on a summer’s afternoon.

The area around Chitabe Lediba is a mix of Okavango and Kalahari, which offers an abundance of wildlife including elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard, cheetah, giraffe, zebra, tsessebe and impala. Wild dogs are also occasionally sighted. Night drives are a highlight and provide opportunities for guests to see nocturnal mammals such as civet, serval, genet, porcupine and aardwolf. The camp offers land activities all year round and includes day and night game drives in open 4x4 vehicles, guided nature walks and fantastic bird-watching. The birdlife is excellent and varies throughout the year, depending on water levels and season. They include African hawk-eagle, ground hornbill, scarlet-chested sunbird, red-billed hornbill, gabar goshawk and red-billed francolin.
