Musekese Camp
Musekese Camp is tucked away from the outer world, sitting on the rim of an amazing lagoon. The camp has become well-known for its excellent guiding, first-rate cuisine, and amazing wildlife watching. Travel down the emerald-green Kafue River in a canoe, on foot, or by vehicle to see this game-rich region.
With only 5 brand-new guest rooms and a group of knowledgeable guides, activities are done at your pace and according to your interests. The Musekese Camp offers large, pleasant rooms that are equipped with all the necessary. Included in this are hot water showers available as needed and en-suite flushing toilets. Our main area has enough surplus electricity available around-the-clock to keep all of your devices completely charged and drinks icy cold. All of our power needs are met by a well-designed solar setup. This camp has taken care to ensure that the well-maintained equipment they employ represents the wide range of interests that the guests bring with them. The reliable river boats have flat bottoms, and they provide game drive vehicles with or without roofs. They have specially modified camera mounts for avid photographers to ensure complete stability for your images.

Excellent animal viewing may be found in and around Musekese. Increased protection and deliberate habituation by Phil, Tyrone, and the crew have resulted in an increase in game numbers and an improvement in sighting quality each year. There are all of the main predators, with the leopard and lion being especially well-represented. In the dry season months, elephant herds are always visible, and the plains game is equally abundant and diverse, ranging from sable and hartebeest to zebra and puku (puku in the hundreds!). The Musekese area is a top birding destination, with hundreds of species having been identified there.
