Ormatai Rock
Ormatai Rock, located inside Tarangire National Park, benefits from its stunning setting on the verge of huge kopjes. Facing west, it provides spectacular views of the park and, further out, the Rift Valley, the Ngorongoro Crater, and the lakes Burunge and Manyara.
Ormatai Rock opened in July 2019 and thanks to the discreet and elegant decoration, one can readily sense the camp's welcoming mood and harmonic integration with the surrounding environment. The modest number of tents offers a more intimate and exclusive feel. Built on Kopjes, each tent has a private balcony with spectacular views. The wide common areas are constructed of stone and natural materials and covered with thatch. It has nine spacious, modern-style tents with amazing views of the park. All are set amid the rocks and include comfy bedding, a furnished balcony, and en-suite bathrooms with flushing toilets, showers, and basins. Ormatai Rock's thatched main house has a modern safari design. An open restaurant with breath-taking views is located next to the pleasant lounge area with bar (Wifi). The observation balcony and fireplace are excellent for a memorable African sunset or post-dinner beverages.

This camp offers a variety of activities to make your stay memorable. Exciting game drives and walking safaris allows guests to see spectacular wildlife in a natural setting. The Tarangire National Park has a wide variety of wildlife that can be seen throughout especially large herds of Elephants that can be seen roaming close to the camp.
