Olakira Camp is a seasonal mobile tented camp following the migration in the southern and central Serengeti. The camp is situated very close to the Mara River overlooking a crossing point regularly used by the Great Migration.

Olakira Camp is a seasonal mobile camp that tracks the wildebeest migration when the herds are in the southern and central Serengeti. The camp operates between December and May will the migration is in the southern and central Serengeti. The camp offers a thrilling safari experience and the mobile nature of the camp allows it to move to the densest concentrations of wildlife. Olakira Camp is a traditional mobile tented camp offering luxury and charm, comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms. The emphasis is on personalised service and superb guiding whilst viewing wildlife in some of the best game viewing areas in the Serengeti National Park. Olakira is small and intimate and guests can enjoy romantic lantern-lit bush dinners in the heart of Africa. Many cosy evenings are spent around the camp fire where after-dinner drinks are enjoyed and stories of the days' safari adventures are told.

Olakira Camp Game Viewing and Activities
Olakira Camp offers game drives in some of the finest nature and wildlife regions on the planet. In order to maintain the highest possible standards of wildlife viewing, the camp relocates twice a year. Olakira offers an intimate and peaceful safari experience in the heart of the Serengeti National Park. The southern and central Serengeti areas are legendary for fantastic wildlife viewing. Olakira Camp operates from June to December in the central Serengeti. Balloon safaris are another highlight and offer the unique experience of viewing the animals, and the Serengeti National Park from above.
