Lemala Ndutu Camp Highlights
The camp gets regular visits from the resident wildlife ranging from lions, leopards, cheetah and hyena to elephant and giraffe. Lion hunts close to the camp are not uncommon. The migrating wildebeest and zebra should be grazing the sweet, short grasses of the southern Serengeti from December to April and the wildebeest usually calve in January or February.
- Throughout February and March, the calving season takes place
- The camp is the ultimate amphitheatre for the wildebeest migration between December and April
- It is perfect to visit during the great wildebeest migration
Lemala Ndutu Camp Game Viewing and Activities
A major advantage of the area is the ability to do off-road game viewing. Lemala's open 4x4 vehicles are designed with charging units and a large refrigerator for guests to enjoy full day game drives with great picnic breakfasts and lunches. The camp offers optional walks along the marsh with an armed ranger for closer encounters with the wildlife. A guide can go off-road to follow an animal or get a close-up view on guest game drives. The marsh just beyond camp attracts numerous herbivores and their predators, including lion, leopard, cheetah and hyena.
