On this epic safari you will experience the phenomenal wildlife and gorgeous scenery of Mikumi, Ruaha and Selous National Parks.Ruaha is the second largest park in Tanzania and is one of the least visited parks, offering a private and exclusive game viewing experience. There are a number of natural springs within the park which attracts a plethora of wildlife. Selous is remote and wild; and guests can enjoy both land and boat safaris. Selous also has the largest concentration of elephant within the country. Mikumi borders Selous and has vast forests and mountains with a great concentration of wildlife. You will enjoy game drives, walks and even a boat trip on this safari.

Day 1 - Southern Sun, Dar es Salaam
On arrival at Dar es Salaam airport you will be met and transferred by road to the Southern Sun Hotel for the night on a bed and breakfast basis.
The Southern Sun is set in lush gardens and the rooms overlook the neighbouring Botanical Gardens or the city. All modern conveniences are in the room.
Day 2 to 4 - Stanleys Kopje , Mikumi National Park
After breakfast you will be transferred to Dar es Salaam airport for a charter flight to Mikumi National Park. Your guide from Stanelys Kopje camp will be waiting to transport you through the park to your camp. Open spaces and abundant wildlife greet you as you enter this conservation area. Large herds of Nyasa Blue Wildebeest, giraffe and zebra are found here, along with the predators like lions, leopard and even the African Wild Dog.
Perched on a rocky outcropping, Stanelys Kopje has amazing views over the Mikumi wilderness. Each of the tents are spaced out and have the same amazing vista. The safari tents are on platforms with verandas to relax and view the surrounds. Each tent is ensuite with solar power.The main areas are under thatchand there is a nearby waterhole that attracts animals to the area regularly. Spend 2 nights here on a full board basis and enjoy twice daily game drives in open 4x4 safari vehicles. You can also visit nearby Udzungwa Mountains, home to rain forests, primates and rare birds!
Day 4 to 8 - Ruaha River Lodge , Ruaha National Park
After your morning activity and breakfast you will be transferred by charter flight to your next stop on this tour, Ruaha National Park. Explore the great Ruaha River and Tanzania’s largest national park with 4 nights at Ruaha River Lodge. Explore this park where the northern and southern hemispheres converge with its multitude of wildlife and birdlife.
Ruaha River Lodge is built out of natural stone and thatch, around a kopje. The stone chalets all have stunning views from a large private veranda. The main lodge has a long banda along the river provides ring side seats to the action. You will experience the area with twice daily game drives.
Day 8-11 - Rufiji River Camp , Selous Game Reserve
From Ruaha you will fly to Selous Game Reserve for 3 nights at Rufiji River Camp. Ruaha is home to huge heard of elephants. The Rufiji river has hippos and crocs and you can enjoy a boat cruise along the river. There are many small lakes and deltas to explore. Walking safaris and game drives are also available at Rufiji River Camp.
Rufiji River Camp is on the banks of the river with wonderful views. All the tents are spaced along the river and have a deck to watch the surroundings. Each en suite tent has a shower and the tents are comfortable with African influenced décor.
Day 11- Return to Dar es Salaam for onward travel
This morning you transfer by road to the airstrip.You then take a scheduled light air transfer to Dar es Salaam International Airport.
