Okonjima Bush Camp Game Viewing and Activities
Okonjima Private Nature Reserve consists of 22 000 hectares and is home to the AfriCat Foundation; founded in the early 90's. AfriCat is a non-profit organisation committed to the long-term conservation of Namibia's large carnivores, especially cheetahs & leopards. The main emphasis at Okonjima Bush Camp is on large carnivore conservation and tracking of leopard and cheetah. Birding is also available as well as photography and the Bushman Trail is popular among families. Guests can also expect to see Aardwolf, Chacma baboon, Honey badger, Caracal, the Damara dik-dik, Wild dog, Bat-eared fox, Brown hyaena, Red Hartebeest, Giraffe, Impala, Eland, Blue Wildebeest, Kudu, Cheetah and Leopard and a variety of other animals.
