Solio Lodge
The modern and exciting lodge is located on the Solio Game Reserve, home to the endangered black and white rhino who live alongside other African wildlife such as leopard, lion and a wide variety of birds.
Solio Lodge Highlights
Solio Lodge is located in the valley between the dramatic slopes of Mount Kenya and the Aberdare Mountains. The Lodge is located on the Solio Reserve, which is part of a private ranch, and is home to a diverse population of wildlife, including both black and white rhino. Game drives take guests into different habitats and offer a chance to see leopards, lions, elephants, buffalos, sunis, bushbucks and giant forest hogs.

Activities at Solio Lodge include horseback riding, walking, mountain-biking, night and day game drives and fishing trips to Mount Kenya and the Aberdare Mountains. Helicopter rides can be arranged and are a perfect way to see the diverse landscape that Kenya has to offer. A short trip from Solio Lodge to Mt Kenya for breakfast can also be arranged for guests. Spa treatments are available in the comfort of guests own room for a relaxed pamper session.
