The Sanctuary at Ol Lentille Game Viewing and Activities
The Sanctuary Ol Lentille Conservancy is a vital keystone in the protection of Laikipia and the greater Ewaso Nyiro ecosystems. Laikipia is the second largest ecosystem in Kenya after Tsavo. It is the richest ecosystem in Kenya in terms of endangered species and wildlife diversity. The conservancy is home to the endangered African wild dog, greater kudu, leopard, striped and spotted hyena and klipspringer. Big 5 Game viewing in this area can be difficult and limited at times, the drives and walks more focused on the wildlife in general. These can be organised day or night.
For relaxation, visitors to The Sanctuary can relax by the swimming pool, or play croquet and boules in the lodge grounds. Mountain bike, camels and horseback excursions can be arranged according to guests wishes. For the more adventurous, 2 or 3 day horse and camel safaris can be arranged with overnight fly-camping.
