At North Island Okavango, we kind of like to embark on wild adventures. Here, you can explore the Delta three different ways: on foot, by water, and by air. While on a game drive, look for lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, hippos, and the endangered sitatunga antelope among the huge expanses of untouched wilderness. On a boat or traditional mokoro safari through the lily-filled waterways, observe the wildlife up close (NB water activities are subject to water levels in the Delta but the best part about North Island Okavango is that it gets water almost all year round). Make an attempt at some fishing (01 April – 31 December; fishing is not permitted from January to March due to breeding season). There are endless activities on offer that are accessible all year round.
