Grassland Bushman Lodge Game Viewing and Activities
At Grassland Bushman Lodge guests are able to see a large variety of Kalahari game including eland, gemsbok, springbok, wildebeest, cheetah and more. Wildlife animals can be seen while on game drives and walks, including the smaller wildlife animals like the duiker and steenbok. Guests staying over at Grassland Bushman Lodge have the opportunity to interact with the local San people, where they are able to learn san skills as well as learn more about the culture. Activities with the local San people include searching for food and medicines. Skills that are taught to guests include hunting for meat, making a fire, preparing food and building nomadic homes. A highlight at Grassland Bushman Lodge is the story telling and ceremonial dancing by the local San people. Grassland Bushman Lodge offers horse riding safaris for adventurous guests, offering a different game viewing experience.
