Haina Kalahari Lodge Game Viewing and Activities
In addition to twice-daily game drives in open land cruisers, activities included a visit to a bushmen camp on the conservancy. Daylong excursions in the Central Kalahari Game Reserve, including Deception Valley, were available. Guided bush walks, with a professional guide are a great way to learn about animal tracking and the Kalahari vegetation. Guests can also discover the natural beauty of the reserve via quad bike safaris. Wildlife sightings can include the sensational black-maned Kalahari lion, as well as regular sightings of cheetah! Small predators include meerkats, bat-eared fox, honey badger, black-backed jackal and several mongoose species. General herbivores species easily seen are gemsbok (oryx), springbok, red hartebeest, eland, kudu, impala and steenbok.
