Day 8-11 - Kanga Bush Camp , Mana Pool National Park
After the morning adventure out on game drive and a filling breakfast, you will embark on a game drive through Mana Pools National Park where you will be welcomed at Kanga Bush Camp. Located in a remote private concession in Mana Pools, this luxury tented camp provides the perfect safari getaway where visitors can explore this game-rich area of mopane woodland and the Kanga Pan. The waterhole that Kanga Camp overlooks is the only source of refreshment for much of the wildlife in the area, and it attracts large concentrations of plains game and buffalo, as well as, lion, leopard and wild dog. In the dry season you do not have to go far to see the abundant game of the area and often it is best to stay in camp, in a comfortable armchair overlooking the waterhole!
In truly spectacular fashion, this perfectly positioned camp has canvas meru-style tents, one of which is a family tent. Constructed on raised wooden decks, the lounge, dining and bar areas provide great elevated vantage points over the surrounding woodland and the busy waterhole. Beautifully lit outdoor bathrooms are adjoined individually to each tent, which offer guests a unique open-air showering experience. This is an undeniably fantastic destination from where to tour Mana Pools.

Say good bye to Mana Pools and fly to Hwange National Park for your last stop on this Wildlife Wonders of Zimbabwe Tour. Set in a huge private concession in the heart of Hwange National Park, Somalisa Camp is superbly remote and accentuates the genuine safari experience.

Its stunning location, tucked away on an acacia island along the edge of an ancient seasonal floodplain, gives it breathtaking views of the savannah plains of the famous Kennedy Vlei. Once the grass begins to dry out large herds of buffalo, zebra and elephant are to be found in abundance.
