This is an 8 night Luxury Migration Safari of Tanzania. Beginning in Arusha, guests can relax in style at Legendary Coffee Lodge that offers superb spa treatments, scrumptious food and ultimate comfort. Next, guests embark on the first leg of their safari adventure into the Tarangire National Park before settling at their next place of accommodation; the luxurious Swala Camp. Here, guests will be positioned beautifully overlooking a busy waterhole from traditional canvas tented units. Next, guests move on to the Ngorongoro Crater, which is known as having the densest population of lion in Africa. Exploreans Ngorongoro Lodge is located just outside this wildlife paradise and accommodates in 20 luxurious log cabins. Lastly, guests travel to the Lamai Serengeti Camp, which is renowned for its positioning for watching the masses of wildebeest crossing the Mara River.

Days 1 to 2 - Legendary Coffee Lodge , Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro airport, guests are met by a representative and transferred by road to the cosy, boutique hotel just outside of Arusha. Legendary Coffee Lodge is set in lush tropical gardens on a working coffee farm and features six beautiful garden cottages, each with an inspiring view of Mount Meru from its own private veranda.
Here is where the first night of this Tanzanian safari will be spent, giving guests the opportunity to indulge in ultimate relaxation. The Legendary Therapies Spa provides a full range of professional services, while Coffee Farm tours and shopping trips can also be arranged through the hotel directly.
Days 2 to 4 - Swala Camp , Tarangire National Park
This morning after breakfast, guests are met at Legendary Coffee Lodge and will receive a short briefing on their safari before setting off on the trip of a lifetime. Travel with a guide to Tarangire National Park, where the next 2 nights will be spent at Swala Camp. Swala Camp offers 12 elegant guest tents offering magnificent views over a busy waterhole. Swala offers luxury under canvas combined with a traditional wildlife experience. The main dining area, deck and library are situated on stilts and built around a huge baobab tree. Guests can also relax and refresh in the beautiful infinity swimming pool overlooking the water hole.
Activities at Swala include game drives in open safari vehicles accompanied by expert guides as well as walking safaris and guests can expect to see huge herds of elephant, greater kudu as well as fringe-ear Oryx. Accommodation is luxurious and guests can enjoy elegant safari tents with en-suite facilities offering spectacular views.
Days 4 to 6 - Neptune Ngorongoro Lodge, Ngorongoro Crater
On the fourth morning, guests depart Tarangire National Park and travel with a safari guide to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive before heading to Neptune Ngorongoro Lodge in Karatu where the next 2 nights will be spent. A trip into Lake Manyara National Park will avail the opportunity for guests to see that tree climbing lions, amongst an array of other species.
Arriving at Neptune Ngorongoro Lodge, located just outside the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, guests will find 20 luxurious cottages set on a hilltop on rolling green lawns and pretty gardens. With wooden floors and beamed ceilings throughout, each of the 20 luxury cottages at Exploreans has been created in the style of a log cabin containing a lounge, sizeable bedroom, dressing room, ensuite bathroom and private terrace.
Day 6 to 9 - Lamai Serengeti Camp , Serengeti National Park
An early departure after breakfast, today you spend the most of the day on the floor of Ngorongoro Crater to experience this World Heritage Site. Few things in Tanzania compare to the breathtaking natural beauty of the Ngorogoro Crater. Widely regarded as the “Eighth Wonder of the World” and a Unesco World Heritage Site, this collapsed volcanic caldera covers a area of 8300 square kilometres and encompasses several different ecosystems.
Lamai Serengeti is subtley nestled amongst the rocks of Kogakuria Kopje, producing panoramic views of the surrounding Serengeti landscape towards the Mara River. This area is best known for the epic river crossings by the migrating wildebeest herds that take place here between July and October.
Day 9 - Depart back to Kilimanjaro airport
Today guests are transferred to the closest airstrip for their local flight to Kilimanjaro Airport, from where they will connect with their onward travel arrangements.
