
Mana River Camp
Mana River Camp is situated on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River and is nestled between the enormous river and a water pan that is frequently enjoyed by Elephants for mud bathing. Shade at the camp is provided by riverine forest consisting of Trichilia Emetica and the fabled Faidherbia Albida.
This mobile camp consists of 6 canvas and gauze tents that all have a view of the Zambezi River. Each has a fully functional ensuite with flushing toilet and outdoor shower with hot and cold water heated with chip boilers. The beauty of this camp is that as it’s a mobile camp known as a TEC- Temporary extended camp. The whole camp gets taken down at the end of each season before the wet season starts again giving a feeling of the true real bush experience. As the camp is unfenced many different animals will roam through, common visitors being Elephant.

The safari experience at Mana River camp includes wildlife viewing game drives, experiencing the Big 5. Canoeing and guided walking safaris are also on offer. As the camp is situated on the banks of the Zambezi River there is extensive bird life along with common sightings of Elephants wanting to take a mud bath.
