Clouds Estate Activities
A short drive away is Delaire Graff Restaurant, serving vibrant “bistro-chic” dishes, using the best local ingredients in imaginative pairings. Also along Helshoogte Road, Tokara specialises in contemporary cuisine, beautifully complimented by their award-winning wines and exquisite views over False Bay and Stellenbosch. To escape the vineyards for a night, head into the town of Stellenbosch, which boasts a number of great restaurants and trendy bars. Amongst them are Indian curry specialist Bukhara and 10 Chapters wine bar whose wine selection spans all ten of South Africa’s winemaking regions. Stretching from the coast into the Cape hinterland, the winelands’ scenic diversity is something to be marvelled at. There are countless walking, hiking and cycling trails to show off this natural beauty and for those who enjoy the game, Stellenbosch and De Zalza golf estates are just 15km away. The winelands is also home to many festivals, art exhibitions and open-air concerts that run year-round.
