Black Rhino Lodge Game Viewing and Activities
The Lodge is built between a Tamboti forest, overlooking a busy waterhole, which is a hive of bird and animal activity, and guests can particularly expect to see a number of elephant who are the waterhole's very frequent visitors. On many occasions the roaring of lions can be heard at night, and the chatty franklins in the mornings. On morning game drives, guests are woken up with a cup of hot tea or coffee and taken out by their host rangers through Black Rhino Reserve, into the unexplored valley of the Pilanesberg, until the 200km network Pilanesberg Park roads. The National Park accommodates virtually every mammal of southern Africa and is also home to the Big Five, so guests are expected to enjoy magnificent sightings. See the Buffalo on regular occasions as they have taken shelter in the more remote areas of the Black Rhino Nature Reserve that is not accessible to any other visitor to the Park.
