Tulela Safari Lodge
Tulela is a luxury exclusive-use safari lodge in the Greater Kruger offering families and small groups a private, personalised experience in nature. Meaning “place of peace” Tulela is intended to rest and restore the soul.
Tulela consists of five luxurious bedrooms each featuring an indoor/outdoor ensuite. The central living area is open plan where guests can relax and enjoy the tranquility. The outdoor deck extends from the dining area and is in full view of wildlife coming to drink from the waterhole. Tulela is a lodge where you can sit back, relax and be at one with nature.

Tulela is located in the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve, Greater Kruger, surrounded by free-flowing wildlife in one of the largest protected areas in Southern Africa. There is a strong conservation policy in place to protect one of the largest populations of rhino in Africa, and there is huge diversity of wildlife thriving in this semi-arid savannah environment. Guests can expect to see elephant, buffalo, giraffe, kudu, waterbuck regularly at the waterhole in front of the lodge, and as the stress of the dry winter sets in, there is an increased possibility of seeing predator-prey action around this precious supply of water.Activities include unlimited access to game drive time with a private guide and tracker, walking safaris, bush breakfasts under a big jackalberry tree, sleep-outs on the Star Deck, specialised kids activities, and specially arranged talks by conservation specialists and wildlife researchers, guided stargazing, guided sound safari experiences, among others.
