Sausage Tree Safari Camp is ideally located within the Balule Nature Reserve and offers magnificent views of the Northern Drakensberg and surrounding Kruger Park. Sausage Tree Safari Camp offers an intimate traditional tented safari camp, overlooking a river bed. Each tent is elevated to maximise the view, with ensuite bathrooms and outdoor shower. The tents each have a air conditioner to cool a summers day or heat a winters night. The guest areas at Sausage Tree Safari Camp has an open deck with a swimming pool, lounge and dining area with a fireplace. Meals are also taken in the boma or on the deck overlooking the waterhole.

Sausage Tree Safari Camp Game Viewing and Activities
Activities at Sausage Tree Safari Camp include private game drives with an experienced field guide in search of Africa's big game as well as spectacular variety of bird life. Guests can expect to see lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, buffalo, hippo and hyena. For the more energetic, there are morning nature walks where you will discover the smaller African creatures, no children under the age of 16 permitted on walks. Day trips to Kruger National National Park can be arranged, a visit to the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre and a host of other activities can also be arranged.
