Guests can delight in a host of activities, most specifically, the mountain gorilla tracking, which is expertly led by a guide and involves (sometimes, strenuous) hiking through the beautiful Volcanoes National Park rainforest. Golden monkeys and a wide variety of birds are also part of the safari as they can be seen throughout the trek. Guests can visit Dian Fossey's Karisoke Research Centre to learn about the magnificent work this famed zoologist conducted during her life.
