Etendeka Mountain Camp Game Viewing and Activities
The main activities here begin with a morning walk to explore the foothills of the Grootberg mountains and the beautiful craggy valleys. The evenings involve a vehicle activity wherebyh guests are driven to check out the wider area. Likely game species are gemsbok, ostrich, kudu and springbok with the possibility of spotting the elusive desert cats (lion and cheetah), and the large desert herbivores; the balck rhino and the elephant. There are a number of endemic bird species including the Damara rockrunner and Herero chat. The black mongoose also occurs here as do leopard.
