The region offers spectacular desert scenery, unusual geological formations and a variety of desert fauna and flora. Mowani Mountain Camp Game Viewing and Activities
There are a variety of activities on offer at Mowani Mountain Camp.
Guests can enjoy early morning guided nature drives where you will expect to see indigenous game such as mountain zebra, kudu, springbok and ostrich. If you are lucky enough, Leopard and cheetah are also found in the area. One can also go in search of the elusive desert elephant. For those interested, hiking trips are also available.
Twyfelfontein is famous for its Bushmen engravings and paintings. This magnificent archaeological site offers more than 2,500 engravings as well as various paintings, and is probably the finest example of rock engravings in Southern Africa. Outings to view these can be organised within the camp.
