Treetops Lodge is renowned as the place where Princess Elizabeth was ascended in 1952 to her throne. Surrounding the lodge is the Aberdare's Mountain Range which includes scenic views of the peaks, deep valleys, waterfalls and ancient forests. The area is home to many species of fauna and flora, including elephants, buffalo, black rhino and more.

Treetops Lodge Game Viewing and Activities
Treetop’s has four viewing decks and room platforms, ideal for game viewing. The photographic hides, offer opportunities to view wildlife as they drink water at the waterhole and salt lick. Guests are taken on game drives within the Amboseli National Park and Solio Rhino Sanctuary where they can view the high moorlands with their waterfalls and mountain streams. Wildlife to see while on game drive includes elephant, rhino, Cape buffalo, leopard, serval cat, spotted hyena and a range of monkeys. Other activities to explore include bird watching, informative lectures about the lodge and its history and sundowner safaris.
