Lewa Private Wilderness Camp
Private Wilderness, an extension of Lewa Wilderness, provides an exclusive safari experience within the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy. Animals to be seen at Lewa Downs Conservancy include elephant, numerous reticulated giraffe, eland, lion, leopard, cheetah, Burchell’s and Grevy’s zebra, Jackson’s hartebeest, greater kudu, Grant’s gazelle, impala, gerenuk, bushbuck, dikdik and many others.
Set along a tranquil valley of the Eastern Marania River, the five-bedroom exclusive use house accommodates a maximum of ten guests and is catered to by a full team of chefs and housekeepers. Guests have access to all safari experiences available to Lewa Wilderness guests, as well as exclusive use of two safari vehicles and private guides for the duration of their safari.

Activities at Wilderness Trails include day and night game drives, bush walks with a professional tracker, horse rides, camel rides, hiking or jogging with a Maasai warrior and visiting a Maasai cultural boma. Wilderness Trails hosts and flies the only open cockpit biplane in East Africa which will take guests around the conservation areas of northern Kenya.
