Setari Kala Treehouse
Treehouse is the newest jewel in the Setari Crown, is located 18 kilometres to the southeast of Setari and 12 kilometres south of Jedibe Airstrip. It gives visitors the height of rustic luxury.
A luxurious hideaway that can house up to 6 guests in opulently equipped suites, Treehouse is a private retreat built high in the trees with sweeping views of the southern floodplains. The guests have private use of the camp with their own guide, cook, waiters, and management, all of whom are there to ensure an unforgettable and completely original bush experience. This service is only available on an exclusive basis.Each of the beautifully decorated rooms has an extra-length bed, a huge mosquito net, a desk, seating, a fan, lights, and convenient plug points. Each en-suite bathroom has a shower, a washbasin for washing dishes and a toilet. Every suite has a verandah where guests can take in the breath-taking views and spectacular sunsets.

Similar to Kala camp, the Treehouse provides a watery paradise where visitors can take boat and Mokoro rides from right in front of camp and take long walks on the nearby islands between May and October. Large groups of buffalo and elephant are drawn to the floodplains between October and May as the floodwaters subside and dry up. Lions are frequently spotted nearby when there are bison around, looking for a meal! Along with the larger game, the region has a wide variety and abundance of birdlife.
