Kana Kara Camp is an intimate, tented accommodation in Botswana’s pristine Okavango Delta. The camp is situated in the northern region of the Delta with the safari area straddling the area between the Selinda spillway and the Vumbura River. Kana Kara is a semi-permanent tented safari camp comprising 8 meru type tents, each with en-suite facilities and an outdoor shower. The facilities are modest yet comfortable, and are positioned to command uninterrupted views of the northern delta.

Kana Kara Camp Game Viewing and Activities
Activities at Kana Kara Camp include a morning mekoro trip together with a walk to explore a few of the numerous islands. A mekoro safari is quintessential to this area of Botswana and guests can expect a lively awakening as they are steered through the still Delta in a traditional dug-out canoe. On-foot safaris will also absorb guests in the finer details of the area, whilst experiencing the thrill of encountering game on foot. Afternoon activities are game drives, including a sundowner stop where guests will be enjoy a drink while watching the sunset. Interactive cooking is also a highlight, where guests can enjoy meals being cooked traditionally over an open fire and under the stars of Botswana.
