Footsteps Across the Delta is a small camp located close to Shinde Camp. The camp focuses on walking safaris through the Delta, but also offers mokoro rides and game drives. It is a rustic camp suited to guests who prefer a more wilderness experience.

‘Footsteps Across The Delta’ is located in the heart of the Okavango Delta. The camp is small and intimate and guests will be able to explore this beautiful and diverse area either on foot or by mokoro. Fishing is offered throughout the year and guests will be accompanied by expert guides. This is also a base to explore on foot and get up close and personal with the Okavango Delta and all its inhabitants big and small.
Accommodation is in spacious Meru Style tents, twin beds an with en-suite facilities, hot water bucket showers and flush toilets. There is a common area and a bush kitchen that provides sumptuous meals.

Footsteps Across the Delta Game Viewing and Activities
The Footsteps experience offers guests the opportunity to get their feet on the ground and explore the area with expert guides who know the area like the back of their hand. The emphasis here is on guided walking safaris; however game drives, mokoro excursions as well as fishing are also available options. The area offers incredible birdlife and game viewing opportunities. Guests can expect to see hippos and multitude of water birds. The plains game includes giraffe, zebra, tsessebe, impala, wildebeest and herds of lechwe and many more. Guests can also expect to see lion, buffalo, elephant, wild dog and cheetah as well as a multitude of general game in the area.
