Khwai Leadwood Camp
Located deep within the community-run Khwai concession in the Okavango Delta, Khwai Leadwood Camp is situated on the banks of the Khwai River. The river is the boundary between the Khwai concession and the Moremi Game Reserve.
This classic camp has 6 standard tents and one family unit, all decorated in a typical African style. Intricate beaded decor and locally made woven baskets contrast the contemporary furnishings scattered throughout. Expansive leather couches in the lounge, and the modern safari bar provide the perfect place to unwind after a full day of activities. Wooden balconies with panoramic views, a swimming pool overlooking the river, and an intimate boma area constantly remind guests of the vast wilderness surrounds. Hippos, elephants, lions, cheetah and leopard are frequently spotted on the banks of the Khwai. Guests can soak up the safari splendour in a traditional mokoro while cruising the waterways, or join a thrilling night drive.

While out on game drive, guests can spot a wealth of species. The camp offers two game drives a day, mokoro safaris, bush walks, birdwatching and trips into the cultural village. The river is the first water source for migrating wildlife between Chobe and Linyanti, and is a corridor for wildlife. Night drives and helicopter flights are two unique activities that guests can experience at Khwai Leadwood Camp.
