Great Tsau Hill
Great Tsau Hill encompasses 400 square kilometres of ancient Kalahari landscape in the Central Kalahari Game Reserve, and sits elegantly upon a 200 metre high hill. The views from this elevated position of the flat scrubveld are simply breathtaking.
This comfortable camp offers an opportunity to reconnect with nature, and enjoy an adventurous sleeping experience under the stars. Guests can choose to sleep directly under a blanket of stars or in basic canvas tents with comfortable furnishings. Great Tsau Hill is characterised by a desolate and hardy landscape, home to a few desert-adapted species. The roguish black-maned lions call this landscape their home, and it’s only the lucky few that will spot them while out on game drive. Commonly spotted species include brown hyenas, bat-eared foxes, giraffe, wildebeest, ostrich, and oryx. Guests can opt to level up their adventure experience by sleeping out in the wild under the stars or in fly tents. This rustic experience is all encompassing.
