On this very memorable six night safari trip, you will explore the inland river beds, pans and open plains of Mana Pools National Park in the very North of Zimbabwe. Mana Pools is part of the 10,500 square kilometre Parks and Wildlife Estate that runs along the Zambezi River from the Kariba Dam in the west to the Mozambique border in the east. At Mana Pools the Zambezi river has left behind the remains of old channels, forming small seasonal pools scattered over 2000 square kilometers. This borderless animal paradise is home to mighty herds of elephant and buffalo are drawn to the sweet Zambezi waters, followed by lion, hyena, kudu, nyala,impala and a multitude of plains game. Three nights in the mopane woodlands at Kanga Bush Camp followed by three nights at Zambezi Explorer on the river bank.

Days 1 to 4 - Kanga Bush Camp , Mana Pools National Park
To begin this adventure into Zimbabwe's famous National Park, guests will arrive at Victoria Falls Airport and take a light air transfer to Mana Pools where they will be welcomed at Kanga Bush Camp. Located in a remote private concession, this luxury tented camp provides the perfect safari getaway where visitors can explore this game-rich area of mopane woodland and the Kanga Pan. The waterhole that Kanga Camp overlooks is the only source of refreshment for much of the wildlife in the area, and it attracts large concentrations of plains game and buffalo, as well as, lion, leopard and wild dog.
In truly spectacular fashion, this perfectly positioned camp accommodates its guests in six canvas meru-style tents, one of which is a family tent. Constructed on raised wooden decks, the lounge, dining and bar areas provide great elevated vantage points over the surrounding woodland and the busy waterhole. Beautifully lit outdoor bathrooms are adjoined individually to each tent, which offer guests a unique open-air showering experience. This is an undeniably fantastic destination to start the tour of Mana Pools.
Days 4 to 7 - Zambezi Expedition Camp , Mana Pools National Park
After breakfast and morning activities at Kanga Bush Camp, guests will be transferred to the Zambezi Expeditions Camp and embark on three days spent admiring the splendour of the Zambezi River.
The four twin-bed luxury mobile camp is set up prior to guests' arrival near the Zambezi River, providing the opportunity to canoe and fish, either from the river bank or off an island in the middle of the river. All tents have ensuite bathroom facilities that include flushing toilets and hot bucket showers, giving Zambezi Expeditions Camp a luxurious camping reputation. A well-serviced mess tent with a dining and seating area forms part of the camp. It is designed to give guests access to the Zambezi river affording canoeing excursions, fishing either from the banks or off an island in the middle of the Zambezi river, tracking game on foot on the shore, as well as, traditional game drives. The combination of both Kanga Camp and Zambezi Expeditions offers lucky guests the perfect exploration of what Mana Pools has to offer.
Day 7 - Depart back to Victoria Falls Airport
After breakfast and morning activities, guests are transferred by light aircarft back to Victoria Falls airport in time for their onward travel arrangements.
