Day 1 to 4 - The Chundukwa River Lodge , Victoria Falls
On arrival at Livingstone Airport you will be met and transferred by road to Chundukwa River Lodge for 3 nights. This family run lodge is on the banks of the Zambezi River and offers spectacular views across the river. Close enough to Victoria Falls to enjoy all the activities, Chundukwa is away from the hustle and bustle offering a tranquil African Retreat. The lodge is inspired by Zambian history and offers an authentic Zambian experience.
Accommodation in 5 river-front chalets, and a 3-bedroomed cottage, all with lovely views over the Zambezi River.Located opposite the Zambezi National Park you can hear lions, hyenas, hippos, zebra and jackal calling on a regular basis and of course the hippos will be serenading before bedtime and in the early mornings.
Enjoy a myriad of adventures in Victoria Falls, including a tour of the falls on both sides of the border, zip lining, canoeing, white water rafting, helicopter flights and more!
Day 4 to 8 - Baines River Camp , Lower Zambezi Valley
After breakfast you will be transferred back to Livingstone Airport and take a connecting flight to Baines River Camp on the northern banks of the Zambezi River, where you'll will be collected and driving to camp for 4 nights. Activities include exploring the Lower Zambezi National Park on game drives, by boat or canoe and even walking! This tranquil lodge will offer the ultimate safari experience for all travellers.
Baines River Camp is a colonial style safari lodge, named after the famous artist and explorer Thomas Baines. Each suite is richly decorated and overlooks the Zambezi River. Air conditioning is available in each suite. Baines' River Camp has a dedicated team, offering a tranquil setting, intimate atmosphere and luxury accommodation, for a truly memorable stay.
Day 8 - Return to Lusaka Airport
Take the connecting flight from Kasaka River Lodge back to Lusaka and board your outbound flight home.
