Classic Luangwa
This luxury 7 night safari takes you to the premier wildlife viewing haven of South Luangwa, home of the walking safari.
Introduction
Discover Zambia’s iconic South Luangwa National Park in this 7 Night safari , relax at Mfuwe Lodge before venturing deep into the bush and exploring on foot from three of their remote and intimate bushcamps. You will be guaranteed an unrivalled wildlife experience in one of the last unspoilt wilderness regions of Africa – the very place where the African walking safari was pioneered.
The South Luangwa is the home of the walking safari – this is where it was first pioneered by Norman Carr back in the 1960s. To stride out on your own two feet is the only way to understand the bush, and it’s the best zoology lesson you’ll ever have.
