Victoria Falls River Lodge Game Viewing and Activities
The lodge situated in the privileged location of the Zambezi National Park. This means that some of Africa's most amazing animals are right on our doorstep; including, elephant, hippo, crocodile, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, impala and even the occasional big cat can be viewed in the park. The first safari option is to take a river cruise along the Zambezi and marvel at the animals that come to the waters edge to drink at the end of the day. Alternatively, head out in a game-viewer to explore the 150,000 acres that make up the Zambezi National Park. Track the elephant herds as they move silently through the bush and admire the giraffe as they weave their way through the acacia thicket. Night drives and walking safaris can also be arranged. For the adrenalin junkie there is white water rafting, bungee jumping, gorge swinging, zip lining and helicopter flips over the Falls. There are less adventurous activities on offer to provide guests with a more placid experience in the natural surroundings; such as, canoeing and fishing trips along the Zambezi, or horseback safaris in the National Park. For a more cultural experience, take a guided tour of the historic town or a shopping trip to the local market.
