Wildlife Camp offers superb walking safaris as well as a beautiful campsite, situated on the banks of the Luangwa River in South Luangwa National Park in Zambia. Wildlife Camp offers a private and personal safari experience and the camp supports the wildlife and people of the Luangwa Valley and Zambia. Wildlife Camp offers only nine chalets with private verandas providing a peaceful and tranquil location on the Luangwa River. Activities include walking safaris, day game drives as well as night game drives and village tours providing a true Zambian experience.

Wildlife Camp Game Viewing and Activities
South Luangwa National Park is a prime game viewing area and hosts a wide variety of wildlife, birds and diverse and lush vegetation. The legendary 'walking safari' originated in South Luangwa National Park and is still one of the best ways to experience this magnificent wilderness first hand. There are over 100 species of mammals and over 420 different bird species in the park. The park is known to have the highest concentration of leopard in Africa. It is estimated that there is one Leopard for every kilometer of river in the Luangwa Valley. Guests can expect to see large elephant herds, reaching up to 70 in number. Buffalo are abundant and spread throughout the valley as well as hippos can frequently be seen along the river banks. Zebra can be seen running in small herds of about a dozen. Thornicroft's Giraffe is unique to Luangwa Valley and should be easily spotted. The park has 14 different antelope species.
