The camp is the perfect setting to experience the breathtaking scenery that the Serengeti. Southern Serengeti is well known for the period between December and March which marks the season of the Great Migration. During these months, vast herds of wildebeest and zebra head to the Southern Plains into this fertile grassland to give birth to the next generation of wildebeest and zebra, followed eagerly by predators.

Masek Under Canvas Tented Camp Game Viewing and Activities
Guests are taken on a tour to Olduvai Archaeological site where the Leakeys made important archaeological discoveries. Guests also visit Laetoli Archaeological site, where footprints of two Australopithecus afarensis were discovered in 1974-1975. A balloon safari can be enjoyed during the migration season and guests can view the event from an eagle’s view. Flying packages can be organised for guests as well as 4x4 game drives based at the camp.
