Kosi Bay is a place where fishermen can revere their surroundings and a variety of fish species; such as, Kingfish, Queenfish, Stumpnose, Shad, Grunter, Mullet and Garrick. While Kosi Bay has such wonders as the two armed Mudskipper fish and the one-armed Fiddler crab, nearby Ndumo Game Reserve sports a number of larger game species; like rhino, giraffe, warthog, zebra, kudu, nyala and impala, as well as, over 400 bird species. Activities at Kosi Forest Lodge include canoe trips and boat trips on the Kosi Lakes, led by experienced guides; a visit to Kosi Bay Mouth, which boasts fantastic snorkelling opportunities and plenty of fish; Raffia Palm Forest Walks are a nature-lover's favourite; Tembe Elephant Park; and Turtle Tracking, which is offered every night from 15 November to 15 January.
