Elephant Rock Safari Lodge Game Viewing and Activities
Elephant Rock Safari Lodge offers a variety of activities, including two game drives a day of approximately 3 hours each. The reserve offers Big Five game viewing. Other activities include, fishing in the reserve's dams, Battlefield tours by arrangement, picnics/dinners at a waterfall, river swimming and bush dinners and breakfasts can also be arranged. Guests can also track wildlife by prior arrangement. Other options include a visit the Rorke's Drift and Isandlwana Battlefields approximately 60 minutes from Nambiti. The Elandslaagte area is rich in history that dates back to the late 1800s, where some of the bloodiest battles in history were fought as Zulus, Boers, and British forces clashed over land and sovereignty. The Battle of Elandslaagte was fought on the Nambiti Conservancy and the original hospital still stands within its boundaries.
