Game drives are led by knowledgeable and experienced Guides. Trackers work in front of the vehicle to aid by engaging in the age-old practise of tracking, either through the use of spoor or in the dense undergrowth nearby. The skill of this team, which consists of a Guide and a Tracker, will astound visitors as they explore all kinds of sightings and showcase what nature has to offer in pursuit of the Big 5—the elusive Leopard and the Buffalo, Elephant, Rhino, and Lion. To optimise the amount of sightings, game drives are scheduled at the optimal times of day. After having a cup of tea or coffee on the deck, the early-morning adventure begins, usually at around 05:30 in the morning in the summer and 06:00 in the winter.
