The Manor at Samara is situated in the Samara Private Game Reserve along the Eastern Cape consisting of 28 000 hectares/70 000 acres teeming with wildlife. Samara offers space, privacy and exclusivity in the vast Karoo. The reserve encompasses the southern flank of the Sneeuberg Mountain range and is situated 55km outside Graaff-Reinet, the fourth oldest town in South Africa.

The Manor at Samara Game Viewing and Activities
Samara Private Game Reserve is one of the largest reserves in South Africa and is home to an incredible variety of game species. Focused on reintroducing protected species, the property has a healthy population of Cheetah, Cape Mountain Zebra, White Rhino, Giraffe, Black Wildebeest, Eland, Kudu, Gemsbok, Springbok, Red Hartebeest and a range of other smaller mammals, including Vervet Monkeys and Meerkats. The reserve preserves a complex ecosystem which provides a habitat for over 60 mammal species. Alongside the more common species, like the Kudu and Duiker, the elusive Aardvark and the previously endangered White Rhino roam wild. Discover the mysticism of the area as you explore the untouched Plains of Camdeboo that once hosted the migrations of millions of Springbok.
